Since the year 2001, AutoSock for car is certified and monitored by the TÜV SÜD safety and performance standard PPP 53219, legally for cars with and without trailers (vehicle classes M1, N1, O1 & O2) and since the year 2006, also AutoSock for truck and busses is certified and monitored by the other TÜV SÜD safety and performance standard PPP 53283, legally for vehicles > 3,5 to (7700 lbs), with and without trailers (vehicle classes M2, M3, N2, N3, O3, O4) as a “Winter Protective Overall” and “Snow Chain Equivalent”, and with that registered as the first product in a new non metal based product category in addition to metal based now chains.
